Babies' First Halloween!
Of course Halloween in non-eventful when you're 6 months old, but they still got to dress up for daycare! Ollie was a pirate (thanks to a few misc pieces I found in Quincy's dress-up trunk) and Miley was a 'lil pumpkin thanks to Goodwill :)
Marshal was out-of-town for work on Halloween so Quincy's friend Rhea came over with her mom and baby brother to keep us company. I tried to make "mummy dogs" for the kids but I'm not sure how well-received they were ;)

Spooktacular Balloon Fest with some of our BFFs!
When you live across town from friends, it's a rare occasion that you can get together. Luckily, this day worked out great to get together with one of our fave families where we could meet in the middle. What a FUN day we had. Well, that was up until it got past the twins' bed time and Ollie decided instead of falling asleep like a good little boy, he would test out his lung endurance and screamed, and screamed and screamed. Luckily, Alex had the magic touch and held him for me, calming him down. I love my mom friends :)

It's not Halloween/Fall without Schnepf Farms!
Of course, as always, I insisted on doing Schnepf Farms this year. It just isn't fall without going to a pumpkin patch! Grammy took the day off of work to come out so, we braved the heat and went for it. Unfortunately with the kids' nap times, we had no other choice than to go in the middle of the day. Here in Arizona, a midday in mid-October is nothing nice. I can recall being a bit cranky due to the heat, but Grammy is always the positive one so she pulled me out of my slump. It was a fun day with rides, food, shows and a pony ride on "Princess" that started it all off. It was definitely a wonderful memory for me of a day with my mom. I don't get nearly enough of those! :)

Halloween decorating
I love the holidays, and love to decorate, but it took everything in me to pull out the decorations for the holidays this year. We managed to pull out what little we have for Halloween and set it up in the front yard... in the heat. With babies in their bumbos, Quincy and I stretched out the spider webs and arranged our hodge-podge of pumpkins.
