Just a note for myself! I don't think I've recorded much progress lately so I just don't want to forget! Miley & Ollie are 15 months old now. Miley doesn't walk... she runs...everywhere! The girl only has one speed and she is nimble. Tonight she was trying to do somersaults. She loves to fall down and roughhouse. She gets up with the biggest grin and chuckle. She is saying words now too. She's saying "Momma" (music to my ears), "Dog", "Go", "Mimi (milk)" and I swear there are a few more in there that I haven't confirmed yet :) She has her two middle bottom teeth and one top front tooth fully in with the other halfway exposed...she's in the "snaggle tooth phase" :)
Ollie is a big ball of love. He is the more sensitive of the two. He gets his feelings hurt quite easily, especially at the word "No". He's got his two top and two bottom front teeth with the next two coming in on each side on top. He still has his adorable little toddle/waddle. He moves MUCH slower than Miley with much more of a mission in mind whereas Miley runs around spontaneously and can change direction at any time. Ollie is much more quiet. He likes to observe and take things in. He LOVES music. He was following his daddy around the house this evening playing the harmonica. He can't keep his body still the second he hears music. He is also becoming quite the hitter and toy/food/anything thrower. Boy thing? I don't know but he's not making any friends with that behavior! ;)
The twins interact so much now, bringing each other their sippy cups, sharing food from their trays and playing chase. That's my latest favorite past time—watching them run circles around the house giggling. Miley can literally run laps around Ollie right now but I'm sure that will change someday! He's got a lot more weight to lug around :)
Quincy is doing great in Kindergarten so far. It's slowly becoming a routine. Her favorite things these days are playing "Mommy, pretend you're the sister... Mommy, pretend you're the baby...Mommy, pretend you're the teacher...you get the idea!" She has also been loving Legos lately and I have to say, they're my favorite toy she's had thus far. I can't believe I went ugh-ugh, 30-something years without knowing I love Legos!
That's about it for now. I just wanted to make sure I noted these things so when I'm old in my rocker I have something to go back and read :)

Watch Me Grow Trike-athon... and stuff
Quincy's daycare has an annual Trike-athon. Last year it was Cowboy themed... this year it was at Tumbleweed Park with a live kids band. Q wasn't too into the band, or the trikes... but she like the swings (at least).

Here is Quincy on her last day of hip-hop dance class. They did a routine to Justin Bieber's "Baby, Baby". Thank Gad I can hopefully stop hearing that over and over... okay, I lie. I secretly love the Biebs.
Lastly, mommy and super-woman decided making homemade pretzels was a grand idea. Who knew those plain ole rolls of dough took so many steps. Never again with fussy babies right at the dinner hour!

Just Life
I was home with the babies one afternoon and it, being so nice in AZ in November, seemed like a good time for some fresh air. I threw out a white blanket and let the babies roll around for a while. As you can see... this was a toe-sucking, bubble-spewing, crusty booger phase ;)

Just a few days after Halloween (hence the Halloween decor still up in the lawn), Quincy and I were up at the crack of dawn as usual and noticed the most beautiful sunrise ever! We ran out in time to catch a few fun pics.

Ah, an average day in the Wood household. This is the "rice cereal" stage that is oh so fun. Thank goodness for the clean-up crew (see pic below) ;) Ewwww, gross, I know. I just don't care anymore!

Babies' First Halloween!
Of course Halloween in non-eventful when you're 6 months old, but they still got to dress up for daycare! Ollie was a pirate (thanks to a few misc pieces I found in Quincy's dress-up trunk) and Miley was a 'lil pumpkin thanks to Goodwill :)
Marshal was out-of-town for work on Halloween so Quincy's friend Rhea came over with her mom and baby brother to keep us company. I tried to make "mummy dogs" for the kids but I'm not sure how well-received they were ;)
