*****QUINCY'S 5th BIRTHDAY INVITATIONS*****
This year it was HOT so the summer here is all about swimming, and coincidentally, Quincy is all about mermaids! So, there we go, a match made in heaven. We sent out the invitations in a bottle with sand and seashells.

The party was a blast! We even had a "real" mermaid surprise Quincy. She was completely enamored, let me tell you! Here are a few pics from the party scene, but you can view the full post here... TAKE ME TO THE PARTY > *****QUINCY'S 3rd BIRTHDAY INVITATIONS*****
We decided on a fairy-themed party for Quincy's 3rd. I decided to make the invitation like a puzzle that the girls would have to put together in order to read the invite.
*****QUINCY'S 3RD BIRTHDAY*****
This was the best birthday Quincy will EVER have. I must have had a lot of time on my hands that summer! Once the invitations were out, I got busy planning. Like usual, one idea led to another until I had gone overboard once again. I ended up making each girl a rainbow tutu (although for some reason I think my mom saved me again and helped put them all together), a flower wand, a t-shirt to color and fairy wings and had them find each item during a scavenger hunt. It was so much fun to watch them flutter around in excitement. Their giant smiles made it all worthwhile. Here's the original post to see the party... TAKE ME TO THE PARTY >
Blueberry Bars with Spinach Baked in... shhhh.... |
Sadly, I can't even recall what these were! Umm, chicken and rice balls or something like that. |
