You have a baby... in a bar....

Well yes, actually, we did in fact have a "baby" in a bar and it was SO FUN although we did get plenty of looks for bringing the romper room to Vegas. We have our friends Christa and Pete to thank for getting us an awesome room at a very swanky hotel in Vegas for a weekend in November. For some reason our boatload of all of kids did not seem to fit in so well at such a high-end establishment :) While not much adult fun happened, it was a blast to all get together with our kids to explore the strip from a whole new perspective. Plus, I'm pregnant so what was I going to do in Vegas anyway, right? Here are some pics of the trip and the cool hotel! I wanna live there!

Welcome Baby Vivienne

I am once again SO far behind on my own photos, but I do have some to share that I took for a friend from work. Now that I am caught up on my photos for others, I can hopefully get back to my own! I do have to say that spending time with this beautiful little girl made me all that much more excited for little peanuts of my own. She is a perfect little baby. Congratulations to the Avrhami Family!

READY FOR THE BIG NEWS?

The news has probably reached almost everyone we know by now, but we figured we'd make an "official" announcement. Ready? Here it is....

THE WOOD FAMILY IS GROWING WITH... here it comes... TWINS!!!

I have to say we are slowing adjusting to the idea although I am a little more on the terrified side still. This may offer some explanation as to why I've fallen off of the face of the earth these days. I think I am coming out of hibernation finally.

In order to give a visual, Q and I made use of a day at home on Sunday with a silly photo shoot while daddy was busy with football. She knows there are babies on the way, but I'm not convinced she is really ready... and neither are we! Gulp!

Due date is May 21, but I hear twins are a little early so we'll see!

Where in the world have we been?

This is my attempt to catch up this blog after being on hiatus for the past 3 months. I can't believe it's been that long since I last posted anything. There have been a lot of things happening in the past 3 months... big things... but we'll get to that at another time. For now, I am putting up a whole bunch of randomness from the summer/fall. Since I haven't been blogging, that also means I haven't really been taking many pictures either, so here's about all I have for now. I'll be better about posting from now on!
