Because I have this nifty little camera built into my computer, I figure I'll put it to good use and begin to document Quincy and I together regularly. I don't want to forget how either of us look now, considering I'll only get worse and she'll only get bigger :( !
Is it me, or is my right eye pointing the other direction? I may have just discovered a new talent :)
Oh, and as a side note for myself, Q has had a breakthrough all of the sudden when it comes to the art of coloring! It's like out of the blue, the concept of coloring inside the lines has just "clicked". She even drew her first "person/alien from outer space" today in a matter of seconds. I swear she couldn't (or wouldn't) even draw a dot yesterday! Kids are absolutely amazing. I wish I still had the capacity to learn so much so fast. I swear she's somehow sucking my brain cells out. I keep getting loopier and she keeps getting smarter. Hmmmmm.....

Dum Dum De Dum (Daddy and Grandpa, look at your own risk)
So, Q and I were out returning something and decided to do a little "perusing" while at the store. Q happened upon this darling little white "special occasion" dress and gushing over it pointed out that she found what she wanted to buy and that she could wear it everyday. Because I knew that the dress was totally unnecessary, I agreed to let her try it on just for fun but made it clear that we were not leaving with it. To my demise, she put it on and no words can describe the way her face lit up when she looked in the mirror. She truly believed she had turned into a princess. She even did an uncontrollable twirl. I knew that second we were most definitely leaving with the dress.
She kept her promise, basically living in the gown from the moment we got home. She even made me put on her veil that my mom had made for my niece years ago. She calls it her wedding dress in which her daddy does not approve of whatsoever. Here are a few photos I managed to snap. The outfit was ALL her doing. I was just a witness to the fairytale :)

This and That
My posts have been few and far between lately because I just can't seem to find the time (or energy) these days for anything! I hate that! Maybe it's the diet cokes I've cut out of my life... or the toxic summer sun that has been melting my brain... hmmmm.... Well, anyway, here is a bunch of randomness to recap the misc things we do on a daily basis.

Me: "Hey Q, look at me... Pleeeassse? Pretty Please? I'll give you a Popsicle."
Q: "CHEEEEESE... (insert attitude here)"

We have a dove who has set up camp and is on her second round of babies in our backyard chandelier. Here she is sitting on her poor little baby (you can see its little head poking out). So cute to watch. Not so cute to clean out bird droppings.

Making Daddy's Father's Day gift box. Once again, I made her say "cheese". She just LOVES when I make her smile. Can't you tell?

Lastly, I designed the logo for this cool wedding/event venue a few years back and I finally got around to photographing the building.

Another May, Another Memorial Weekend Camping Trip!
I have been so terrible about keeping the blog up these days. I still have to get the rest of the Disneyland photos up at some point as well, but for now, here are some photos from our Memorial Weekend camping trip. We finally got to break in our new Rhino although Quincy seemed to have so much more fun in it while it was parked at camp. It was another fun time with a lot of fun memories. I just can't wait until Quincy can finally drive her Barbie Jeep solo and I don't have to run after her constantly. Seriously, the forest has waaay too many trees for Q to be behind the wheel!
Look out boys!
Oh no! There's a crocodile outside the Rhino! (Playing make believe with Grammy)
